Drunk on London

Is it possible for a city to make you drunk? I feel like I have been drunk since I arrived. More metaphorically than literally. The past week has been one big blur. One day slides in to the next so I have no concept of time. Sleep is non-existent. I mean I sleep but never feel rested. My body hasn’t grasped the fact that being on the other side of the world means time and space has been flipped on its head. It’s all go. Non-stop. 24/7.

Maybe I am drunk because we have drunk every day since I’ve been here. I can’t keep up. Or maybe I’m drunk because of the buzz of the city. I can’t tell.
