24/7 with one person

This is Mitchell. He looks like he’s alone in this photo but he’s not. That’s because I am on the other side of the lens. As he is, with every photo taken of me. The reality is we are never alone. For the last eight months we have travelled Europe while living in a campervan. We are together 24/7. Always. All. The. Time.

Think about being in a room smaller than your bedroom. But that room is your entire house. And there’s another person in it. You sometimes wish you had a dog for a second person to talk to, because dogs are Read More

Meet Mandy our motorhome

Meet Mandy. Our first home on wheels. Our first home that will take us across the continent of Europe. I dubbed her Mandy the Magic School Bus before we even claimed her as ours. She’s not really a school bus… but she is pretty magic.

Mandy is a 1990 Talbot Express which makes her older than both her inhabitants. Because of our small budget we were forced to choose between an older style motorhome or a newer converted van. We decided that because of the length of time we would be living in the camper, size and space would take priority. We wanted a lounge, a kitchen, a bedroom and a bathroom. We basically wanted a small house and we wanted to take that house with us wherever we went.

Read on for a tour of our camper!
